All of the feed is mixed on site. It is made up with a combination of home grown feeds and locally sourced by products where possible. The ration currently includes-

• Brewers Grain
• Pot Ale Syrup
• Trafford Gold
• Maize
• Barley
• Wheat
• Rape Seed Meal

 

Once mixed the feed is fed twice a day to appetite, ensuring the feed always fresh.

 

The ingredients used aren't the cheapest, but are chosen to ensure optimum animal health and meat quality. The nutrition is over seen in house with close attention to detail.
