History

Captain Macllwaine came down from Yorkshire in the 1930's; along side the arable he dealt in horses, in his best year he sold 365. The picture on the left is as the yard was and Captain Macllwaine is on the right by the horse.

Three generations on it is being run by Mike and Jane. They came to the farm in 1986; built up a 250 sow pig unit, they finished with in 1996 when the price dropped. Then they gradually moved into cattle to where they are today.
